Midway was one of the true greats of Ohio's punk rock music scene. Mixing elements of punk, skate, hardcore, and rock, Midway formed during the 1990s. Based out of the capital city of Columbus, Brian Smith (Guitar, Vocals), Paul Feltz (Bass), and Kevin Priest (Drums) would release two EPs, embark on multiple US tours, and release one full-length album "Today’s the Day." From the raw energy of "Race Riot" to the melodic blast of "Seeing Stars," Midway’s "Today’s the Day" hits all of the hallmarks of a classic punk rock album. In 2025, Ratgirl Records is gifting fans of the genre a re-release of Midway's full-length with additional bonus tracks. Don't miss out!
